Travel/Research Awards for Graduate School Funded Fellows
Travel award applications are due to the Graduate School on Friday, March 2, 2018 at 12:00 PM. Eligible students include Provost’s, DIA, Annenberg, Rose Hills, Global, Endowed, Provost’s Mentored Teaching, Final Year, DOD NDSEG, Haynes, Ford, and Mellon/ACLS. Joint Graduate School/School fellows are not eligible. Students are only eligible for one travel award for the entire tenure of their fellowship.

We are happy to bring to your notice that Conference Series is hosting the “11th World Congress on Cell & Tissue Science" (Cell Tissue Science 2018) during May 14th -15th, 2018 at Tokyo, Japan.
The main theme of the conference is “Advancement and Challenges Long-Held on Cell and Tissue Science". Cell Tissue Science 2018, a well-rounded two day event consisting of a lettered scientific program, laudable talks by the top-notch of the global scientific community, sterling workshop sessions, oral and poster presentations of peer-reviewed contributed papers and innovative research products which can be exhibited for further development of Integrative Science.

Travel Awards for Graduate School Funded Fellows
Update: Signature pages (with narrative attached and signed by the appropriate faculty within your section) must be submitted to the Department no later than Monday, 1/25 because these forms still require Dean's approval before final submission to the Graduate School. We appreciate your cooperation!
As part of USC’s continuing efforts to support our students’ academic professional development, grants will be available to Graduate School PhD Fellows for travel to conferences and to research sites. The base travel award is $500. If the fellow’s program matches this amount with $500, the Graduate School will contribute another $500, for a total of up to $1,500 available to the student.
The deadline for fellows to complete the spring online application is Friday, January 29, 2016 at 12 noon.
Eligible students include PhD students funded by Provost’s, Annenberg, Rose Hills Foundation and Global Fellowships who have passed departmental screening or completed 24 units in their USC PhD program. Students funded by the Graduate School’s various advanced fellowships, including the Endowed and Dissertation Completion fellowships are also eligible to apply.
Fellows will complete an on-line application and will be asked to collect signatures from their faculty advisor, department chair, and dean or dean’s designate, affirming that they are making good progress toward the PhD and that the specific travel request will serve their academic goals.
